Oh, so nobody's done the whole barge-death explanation yet, huh. [Whoops.]

When people die here they don't stay dead. They're brought back pretty much instantly by the Admiral if you're a warden, and if you're an inmate you have to wait for a warden to tell the Admiral to bring you back.

Except you're kind of sick. People call it death-tolling. And yeah, it's about as fun as it sounds.
